Vanille Caviar is a dark, luminous, and sophisticated exploration of vanilla as a noble raw material, the sixth masterpiece in the Collection Matières. Crafted by perfumer Alexandra Carlin, it draws inspiration from the glistening black seeds inside a freshly split vanilla pod. It opens with an intriguing, aromatic contrast of blackcurrant bud, crisp cardamom, and herbaceous calamus. The heart unveils a unique, multi-dimensional "vanilla caviar" accord enriched with warm roasted cocoa beans and leathery apricot-tinted osmanthus absolute. As it dries down, a dense, intoxicating base of Madagascar vanilla absolute, Peru balsam, and cistus labdanum creates a modern, non-edible, and deeply sensual "Outrenoir" aura with remarkable longevity.
